The Project consisted of reconstruction of asphalt roadway and visitor areas within the National Park boundary. Improvements included removal and replacement of culvert pipes along the project route; pulverization of three miles of existing asphalt road, sub-excavations of select areas, cement-treated aggregate stabilization, and paving. There were no detours or road closures allowed on the project.
